Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know about an event on Facebook this Friday, February 10. From 2-3 p.m. PST Chihiro Howe, illustrator/Manga artist, will be live on Facebook. It’s a great opportunity to learn the basics of Copic blending and ask questions of a Copic expert. You can join the event HERE. Also at that link, you will find free Valentine art for coloring, one Manga style as well as the image I’ve colored below.
Both images are available in red and black line art. I printed the squirrels in red onto X-Press It Blending Card. (The red on my printer actually appears more brown.)
Aren’t those squirrels sweet? I love that one is offering a flower. The other may or may not share the nut. 😉
I used my MISTI to place the sentiment (from Stamping Bella‘s Uptown Girls Belinda & Bernadette the Bench Buddies).
Copic markers – E31, E33, E35, E37, G21, G24, G07, R20, R83, RV32, W00, W1, Y21, YR23; Copic 0.03 Brown Multiliner
Once colored with Copic markers, I used a brown 0.03 Copic Multiliner to draw a border around the colored panel.
