More Shaped Shaker Tags from Queen & Company

Hi everyone!  I’ve been having more fun with Queen & Company’s Shaped Shaker Tags, this time creating with a Halloween theme.

Queen & Company Shaped Shaker Tag

Copic markers – YG0000, YG00, C00

On my first card, I used the round Shaped Shaker Tag to create a timepiece. Inside, I placed an orange circle die-cut from Delightful Dots Mat Stack then sprinkled in super sparkly orange Diamonds. Over the acetate, I adhered two arrows to resemble clock hands then added the purple die-cut shape.

After removing the inside foam from any shaker pieces (shown above), I always tuck them inside the storage pouch to use as foam squares. Since my left ghost extends past the edge of the shaker element, I needed a foam piece to lift the left side of the ghost to the same height as the shaker. A portion of that left-over foam is the perfect solution! (I used a portion of the leftmost foam shown above. I’m saving the rest!)

Taylored Expressions "Be Somebody"

Once my card was assembled, I chose some yellow star Sequins to embellish the black sky and tied a bit of Orange Sparkle String in the top of the tag.

Other supplies: Taylored Expressions Be Somebody stamp/die combo, Starry Night Cutting Plate, Sitting Pretty Nautical (arrow dies), Oreo and Sugar Cube ink, Oreo and Sugar Cube card stock; X-Press It Blending Card, Copic markers, white embossing powder.

Next I created two tags to tie onto a goody bag.

Inside the top tag I placed a block of green Dot Paper then sprinkled an assortment of Sequins and Diamonds. Using black Stazon ink, I stamped the sentiment directly onto the acetate. Once the ink was dried, I adhered the acetate over the toppings then added the purple frame.

Beneath the purple/green tag, I tied a clear tag with a few star Sequins placed between two layers of acetate.

To create the clear tag, I cut two pieces of acetate in the shape of the tag and die-cut two yellow dotted frames. I adhered one of the acetate pieces to the back side of one of the frames then sprinkled on the small star Sequins. Using thin double-sided adhesive tape, I adhered the second acetate piece over the first then adhered the second yellow tag frame. By adhering the second yellow dotted frame over the back, the tag looks the same no matter which side is visible.

Once my tags were complete, I used Yellow Sparkle String to tie them to the treat bag.
