Hi everyone! I’m back today with two more samples from Stamping Bella‘s upcoming December 4 release. Yesterday six of the new Uptown Zodiac Girls were featured on the Stamping Bella blog. Today you can see the remaining six. I’ve used two here today. I actually looked up color palettes that might correspond with each Zodiac sign. They do exist! (I had no idea.)
First is Sagittarius. She reminds me of Katniss Everdeen.
Copic markers – B16, B18, E00, E01, E11, E31, E33, E35, W00, W1, W2, Y21
After coloring with markers, I added a row of die-cut arrows for a quick and easy border.
Next is Capricorn. I colored her simply and used thin strips of scrap patterned paper to add bits of color and interest.
Copic markers – E00, E01, E07, E08, E09, E11, E31, E35, W00, W1, W2, Y21
Be sure to check out the Stamping Bella blog to see four more Zodiac Girls previewed today. Also, leave a comment there on the Stamping Bella blog for your chance to win a prize!
I’ll be back tomorrow with three more previews and the December Stamp of the Month. Thanks for stopping by!
** PAPER SMOOCHES RELEASE HOP IS HERE**
Hi everyone! It’s time to begin December release previews with Stamping Bella! We have all kinds of wonderful images this month, including a new set of Uptown Zodiac Girls. We also have two AMAZING new team members, which is super exciting. (You might read about them on the Stamping Bella Blog.)
Today I have a sample using Uptown Zodiac Cancer.
I love her dress. And the crab. I love crabs. Well, I love to eat crabs. That’s probably not the same thing. Haha. Anyway…she’s really cute.
Copic markers – E00, E01, E11, E31, E35, E37, R24, R29, R59, R81, R83, R85, R89, W00, W1, W2, Y21
I colored with markers (numbers noted above) then added lots of shimmer and shine to the dress using a clear Wink of Stella glitter brush.
To create the design along the right side, I die-cut two Deco Edges, one red, one white. I slipped half of the white one beneath the stamped panel then cut the red Deco Edge in half and aligned the circles.
Be sure to check out the Stamping Bella blog to see five more Zodiac Girls previewed today. (I’ll be back tomorrow with two more.) Be sure to leave a comment there on the Stamping Bella blog for your chance to win a prize!

Today I’ve used new Wine dies, Ribbon dies and All Year Cheer stamp set.
After applying a bit of watercolor, I adhered the die-cut wine bottle, added a label with a row of Hearts, then added the double layer bow. The tiny cork was die-cut from X-Press It Cork tape. Perfect.
I *love* the font in All Year Cheer. It’s so pretty. The set includes many “happy” sentiments for all sorts of occasions.
Be sure to hop along and comment with the rest of the DT to increase your chances of winning one of four $25 gift codes.
Thanks for visiting! Good luck, and happy hopping!
Hi everyone! While my Tommy Art supplies were on my desk (from this project where I altered candlesticks), I thought I’d alter a few simple ornaments.
I used Tommy Art Copper metallic color and Antiquing Wax.
Tommy Art metallic colors are ultrathick, shiny metallic paints available in five gorgeous colors. They adhere to most surfaces without preparation and can be layered with Tommy Art colors or thinned with water for glazing effects.
Tommy Waxes a creamy, solvent-based beeswax that can be used to add color or to create a seasoned look (which is what I was going for here). Ideal for use with wood, plaster, and metal. Each of the four colors produce their own decorative effects. They are easy to apply and buff and are an excellent way to protect surfaces.
I purchased these three simple wood ornaments from Michaels for 44 cents each.
I first painted over the front and back with Copper Metallic color.
Once that dried, I applied a thin coat of Antiquing Wax.
I let that dry for a few minutes then used a soft cloth to gently buff off of the flat surfaces. I used a toothpick or cotton swab to remove any small clumps of wax from small areas. After tying on a bit of jute string, my ornaments were ready to hang.
My ornaments were super easy and I love how the darker wax complimented the copper paint. I may try this on a large frame in my dining room.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Hi everyone! I have another card to share using the super fun Merry & Bright Ornament Shaker Kit from Queen & Company. (Get yours before they’re gone! Oh, and be sure to check out the Black Friday Sale. It is AMAZING! HERE.)
I paired a couple of jingle bell shakers, adding soft matte beads inside. I love that there are so many options with this kit. Six different ornament shapes, seven ornament tops, a super cute paper pad, stamp set with over 15 holiday sentiments, various colored beads and incredibly cute shaped toppings. There are 18 foam shapes and 30 acetate shapes. Use the extras to make clear ornaments or tags! This really is an incredible kit!
The kit is available HERE. And just in case you want to make more than 18 shaker ornaments, refill foam and acetate shapes are available HERE.
You can find my previous Merry & Bright posts HERE and HERE.
Thanks so much for visiting today!
Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by for another Bellarific Friday with Stamping Bella. Today I’ve used Tiny Townie Orchid Garden Girl with a sentiment from Uptown Girl Bentley is Blown Away.
This week’s challenge was to create using the following photo as inspiration:
I used mostly the shape as inspiration, coloring the flower pale to bright pink with a bit of dark purple in the center.
Copic markers – C00, C1, C2, E00, E01, E11, E31, E35, R35, R37, R39, RV11, RV13, RV14, RV66, V17, Y21, YG97, YG99
Once colored, I added a few of Queen & Company‘s super sparkly white Petite Posies. (I love them.)
Next week’s challenge is to create anything using a current Stamping Bella image. No limitations. If you’d like, email your card to email@example.com by next Thursday to be featured on the SB blog. By doing so, you’ll also be entered to win some Bella Bucks! (All challenge details can be found HERE.)
I will be back soon to begin Stamping Bella’s November 30 release previews. Always exciting!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hi everyone! Have you seen Queen & Company’s Black Friday Sale? There are lots of good deals to be found! I think the prices are already great, but now? I definitely recommend checking it out! (Run!) Today I have two cards to share using some of those awesome bargains!
First I created a Congrats card using the Oval Foam Front Shaker kit. I die-cut the frame using the corresponding Oval Designer Die and papers from Delightful Dots and Pretty Presents paper pads.
Inside the shaker I placed yellow and green sequins as well as yellow and green Diamonds. The sentiment was die-cut from one of two die sets created exclusively for the Black Friday Sale. Each set includes six or seven everyday words/phrases, perfect for all occasions. (Hippo Birdie stamps and dies and Bloomers Greenery dies by Taylored Expressions.)
The cute yellow flowers are one of many items included in Queen & Company’s Black Friday Rainbow Binder. The binder includes eight colors each of rhinestones, pearls, buttons and flowers. It’s an *amazing* deal!
Supplies: Oval Foam Front Shaker Kit, Oval Designer Die, Delightful Dots paper pad, Pretty Presents paper pad, Sequins, Pastel Diamonds, Black Friday Word Dies 1, Rainbow Binder, Scrap Happy Sheer Glue
Next I created a “hugs” card using Bubbles Foam Front Shaker Kit and coordinating Designer Die. The black pearls are from the Rainbow Binder, and patterned paper is from Fruit Basket Mat Stack. I love the bright colors!
Inside the bubbles, I placed my favorite toppings, diamonds (they are AMAZING!) using Clear, Pink and Orange. (Surf & Turf stamps and dies by Paper Smooches.)
Supplies: Bubbles Foam Front Shaker Kit, Bubbles Designer Die, Rainbow Binder, Fruit Basket Mat Stack, Pastel Diamonds, Black Friday Word Dies 1, Scrap Happy Sheer Glue

Hi everyone. I wanted to take a moment to wish my American friends a very happy Thanksgiving. We will have a much smaller crowd than usual but that’s ok. Those who can’t be here are still close at heart. ♥
Today I used Stamping Bella‘s Casey Has a Cornucopia, the perfect image for Thanksgiving. And the perfect sentiment to remind us that change really can be beautiful.
Casey was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

Hi everyone! I’m popping in today with another quick card I created using Paper Smooches‘ new Baby Birds stamp set (free with any $60 retail order through 11/30). I also used coordinating Baby Birds Icons dies and Deco Edge dies.
I used one of the Deco Edges to create “icing” on the “cake” then added some shimmery white Pinwheels from Queen & Company.
Copic markers – BG02, BG05, G05, G14, R20, Y18, Y38, YG13, YR14, YR15, YR18
I adhered my Copic colored bird then stamped the sentiment into a Word Bubble. (Patterned paper from Doodlebug’s Take Note.)
Thanks so much for visiting today!
Hi everyone! Today I’m popping in with another Christmas card. Tiny Townie Ellie the Elf is one of my all-time favorites from Stamping Bella. I think she’s sweet as can be.
