Fun with Rosie (stamping bella)

Hi everyone.  This week with Stamping Bella we’re sharing cards using images from the latest release. There were sooo many cute images from which to choose. I at least narrowed it down to a category – Rosie & Bernie.  🙂

Stamping Bella I Spy Rosie & Bernie

My first card uses new I Spy Rosie & Bernie with a Unicorn Sentiment.

Stamping Bella I Spy Rosie & Bernie (clsoe-up)

Copic markers – BG10, BG11, BG13, BG15, BG18, BG78, C00, C1, C2, E00, E01, E11, E13, E31, E33, E35, R02, R39, R81, R83, R85, RV10, RV11, RV21, RV32, V12, V15, Y17, Y38; Kirarina Wink White Pearl

After coloring with markers, I added bright white dots to Rosie’s dress and hat using a Kirarina Wink White Pearl pen. (If you don’t have one, you *need* one. There are other colors too.  The coverage is completely opaque, even on dark!)

Stamping Bella Rosie & Bernie in New York City

Next, I used a combination of Rosie & Bernie in New York City, Statue of Liberty and Summer Sentiments.

Copic markers – C00, C1, C2, C3, C7, 110, E00, E01, E11, E15, E31, E33, E35, E37, E97, E99, G000, R01, R29, RV000, RV10, RV11, Y17

I used a scalloped border die to create (sponge) the sky background, cut out the statue by hand and used the coordinating die for Rosie and Bernie. I love that they’re eating hot dogs.  🙂

More New Mini Stamps from Queen & Company

Hi everyone! I’ve been having lots of fun with Queen & Company‘s Shaped Shaker kits and new coordinating mini stamp sets.  My cards today both use Dog Shaped Shaker set with its coordinating mini stamp set and Picture Perfect patterned paper.

You-Are-Pawsome-500

On my first card, I created a background of patterns from Picture Perfect paper pad. After adding the stitching, I stamped the sentiment in white ink then white embossed.

You-Are-Pawsome-500-CU

Inside the shaker, I placed blue, green and white Pops, covering with white card stock paws. For a bit of additional embellishment, I adhered a few black Epoxy Dots, rounded the corners and popped up the panel on foam tape.

Supplies: Dog Shaped Shaker Kit, mini stamp set, Pops, Picture Perfect paper pad, Epoxy Dots, Sheer Glue

Next I created a more feminine dog card using the inside (negative) pieces from the bone shaker die.

Yappy-Birthday-500

I cut the bones from various patterns within the Picture Perfect paper pad and white card stock then adhered in the shape of a pile with the sentiment stamped beneath.

Yappy-Birthday-500-CU

Before adhering the panel to my card base with foam tape, I adhered a scattering of new Jewel toppings and tied a bow of baker’s twine.

Supplies: Dog Shaped Shaker Kit, mini stamp set, Jewel toppings, Picture Perfect paper pad, Sheer Glue

For easy viewing, you can find all available Shaped Shaker Kits with each corresponding mini stamp set HERE.

happy spring (paper smooches)

Hi everyone!  Happy spring (assuming it is spring where you are). As I type this (which is a bit earlier than it will actually post), we are getting 6-10 inches of snow.  Yuck.

Paper Smooches Spring Fling

Today I’ve used cute Spring Fling and Spring Fling Icons dies by Paper Smooches.

Do What Brings You Joy (stamping bella)

Hi everyone!  I’m popping in today with a card I created using one of Stamping Bella‘s latest releases, Gnome on a Swing. I adore the gnome, but even more, I adore the sentiment.

And note that bitty caterpillar on the branch. So cute.  🙂

I stamped the image onto X-Press It Blending Card then stamped only the branch end again, above and below the swing branch. All coloring was done with Copic markers (listed below close-up photo).

A Million Reasons (pink fresh studio)

Hi everyone. I recently bought a couple stamp sets from Pink Fresh Studio and finally had a bit of time to play with one of them.

Pink Fresh Studio Happy Everything

The wreath and mouse in Happy Everything are darling. The set includes quite a few lovely sentiments too. I used one of my favorites here.

Pink Fresh Studio Happy Everything (close-up)

To create the appearance of the mouse holding the flower, I simply nipped the stem at an angle to fit his hand.  I then adhered the flower and stem to each side of the mouse’s arm. I did the same sort of thing with the flowers tucked in the bow. I cut the stems just below the leaves then adhered to each side of the tied string so the flowers “look” like they are held in place.  (White string was colored with a  Copic marker to match the paper and ink used.)

Thanks for visiting today.  🙂

Spring Blessings (paper smooches)

Hello everyone.  I have a card to share today using a super-sweet stamp set from Paper SmoochesEco Friendly. (We’re still waiting for spring here. Winter simply does not want to let go.)

Paper Smooches Eco Friendly

I adore this image. It’s just so cute.  🙂  To the left and right, I added a few die-cut flowers with circles from Polka Dot Borders in the centers. They’re the perfect size!

New Mini Stamp Sets from Queen & Company

Hi everyone! Did you know Queen & Company recently released nine new mini stamp sets? Each one coordinates perfectly with their Shaped Shaker Kits.  I have two samples today using the Spring Shaped Shaker kit and new Spring clear stamp set.

Queen & Company Shaped Shaker Kit

I kept my card very simple, using white card stock and a scrap of Flirty Florals patterned paper.  I die-cut the umbrella and cloud, nipping away the part of the cloud that fell within the umbrella.

Queen & Company Shaped Shaker Kit (close-up)

Inside the shaker, I placed an assortment of new Jewel toppings.  The bright hearts, stars and flowers come in eight colors and are perfect for shaker cards!

Supplies:  Spring Shaped Shaker kit, Spring clear stamp set, Flirty Florals patterned paper, Jewels toppings, Sheer Glue

Queen & Company Shaped Shaker Kit

Next, I adhered the sun and cloud die-cuts from Spring Shaped Shaker kit over Simple Stripes patterned paper then stamped a second sentiment from Spring clear stamp set. I love the thin white lines within the word SHINE.

Queen & Company Shaped Shaker Kit (close-up)

This time I used only the clear and yellow Jewels, adhering “rays” of yellow flowers coming from the sun. Toppings are perfect for shaker cards, but I also like to use them as embellishments outside of a shaker.  🙂

Happy Friday, everyone! This week the Stamping Bella team is creating from the Stamp of the Month category, Cool Chicks .  There’s still time to get Irish Chicks at 20% off (through 3/31).

Today I’ve used Chicks with a Sprinkle on Top. 🙂

Ice-Cream-Solves-Everything-500

Compost Happens (paper smooches)

Hi everyone. Today I have a fun card to shared using Green Thumb by Paper Smooches.

Paper Smooches Green Thumb

The boots are one of ten images in the set. I first stamped the bottom of each boot onto X-Press It Blending Card. I didn’t worry about masking since the bottoms are so dark (brown). I then stamped the boots onto dotted paper, cut out and adhered over the stamped bottoms.

Paper Smooches Green Thumb (close-up)

Copic markers – BG11, E23, E47, E57, E79, W00, W1, W2, W3

Using Copic markers (noted above), I added mud (or “compost”) and a few little brown pearls.  Once complete, I stamped my favorite of the three sentiments in the set.  🙂

In the upper right corner, I added a few Stitches and a Heart.

Wishing you a compost-free day.  🙂  Thanks for visiting.
