More Monster Mash fun from Queen & Company

Hi everyone! I hope you had a nice weekend.  🙂  Today I’m sharing two more cards using Queen & Company‘s Monster Mash kit.  It’s so very cute with several different themes possible using the fun coordinating stamp set.  The kit includes six colors of pompoms, each in two different sizes, 26 dies (!) providing base layouts for the pompoms, arms, legs, hair, antennae, smiles with white backdrops for creating easy teeth, gloobers for super quick adherance of the poms, and lets not forget the EYES! Serious monster love, here!

Queen & Company Monster Mash kit

First I created a friendly monster hello. The base shape (which includes embossed circles to help in pom placement) was die-cut then gloobers and poms adhered. After die-cutting the hair, I colored a piece of white string with a pink Copic marker then tied around a piece of the hair.

The sentiment was white embossed on Fright Fest patterned paper  with a scattering of pink Epoxy Dots applied as a finishing touch.

Next, I have a fun “human” birthday card.  🙂  I created the monster as above, adhering the body at a tilt with balloons (not included in the kit) carrying him away. Again, the sentiment was white embossed on Fright Fest patterned paper with Epoxy Dots added as confetti.

Following are links to the kit, refills and additional embellishments to coordinate – Monster Mash Kit, Monster Bubbles Bundle, Monster Mash PomPom refill, Eyeball refill, Epoxy Dots and Fright Fest paper pad.

Hello everyone! Finally, we have fall weather in this part of the country and I am really enjoying it. (It took so very long to arrive!)

Monster Mash Pumpkins and Bats (Queen & Company)

Hey everyone! Today I’m sharing two more cards I created using Queen & Company’s super cute Monster Mash kit!  (You can see the first two **HERE**.) While the kit is full of fun monster possibilities, today I focused more on Halloween.

Queen & Company - Monster Mash kit

I first adhered two striped strips of patterned paper to a block of yellow paper, securing the ends with small staples. I adhered Gloobers in the shape of each pumpkin then adhered orange pompoms. I used the two layering dies to create the mouths, one die-cut from black, the other die-cut from white. The white piece was placed behind the black, allowing the white teeth to show. Sheer Glue holds the mouth and eyes in place.

Queen & Company - Monster Mash kit

I added two die-cut stems, stamped the sentiment and adhered a few star shapes before securing the panel to a black card base.

Supplies:  Monster Mash kit, Fright Fest paper pad, Gloobers, Sheer Glue

Next, I created a fun (quick and easy) bat card.

Batty-for-You-500

I die-cut three bat shapes then die-cut and assembled three mouths. Once the eyes and mouths were adhered to the bodies (using Sheer Glue), I positioned the bats in place over the blue patterned paper. Using the bats as a guide, I wrapped white string, securing the ends on the back side. Once the string was in place, I adhered the bats, placing foam squares beneath the wings.

Queen & Company - Monster Mash kit

I stamped the sentiment in white, white embossed then cut the strip into a flag shape and adhered. As a finishing touch, I added some black and white Epoxy Dots.

Supplies:  Monster Mash kit, Fright Fest paper pad, Epoxy Dots, Sheer Glue

Hi everyone! It’s Friday and that means another fun challenge with Stamping Bella! This week we’re using images from the Stamp of the Month category. October’s SOTM is Tiny Townie Garden Girl Marigold (25% off through 10/31) so today we’re using Garden Girls…or Tiny Townies.

Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Garden Girl Rose

I chose to color Garden Girl Rose. I *love* her hair and striped top/tights. She’s so sweet.

Littles Halloween (stamping bella)

Hello there! Today I did a bit of playing with Stamping Bella‘s Littles Halloween Collection. It was fun to stamp several images then create scenes.  🙂

Stamping Bella Frankie, Witchy & Mummy

First I used Frankie, Witchie and Mummy along with a pumpkin and spider from Haunted House Outdoor Decor.  (All images colored with Copic markers. Glitter added to dress using a clear Wink of Stella glitter brush.)

Stamping Bella Littles Pumpkin with a Witchy on Top

On the above card, I used Pumpkins with a Witchy on Top and bat from Haunted House Outdoor Decor. (All images colored with Copic markers. Glitter added to dress using a clear Wink of Stella glitter brush.)

Card layout is inspired by one of my favorite stampers (and fellow Stamping Bella DT) Debra James.

Hi everyone! It’s time for another challenge with Stamping Bella! This week we’re designing with “vintage” images, which means any image that is not from the latest release.

Stamping Bella Little Bits Christmas Collection Set of Elves

I chose to use Set of Elves from the Little Bits Christmas Collection. After coloring with Copic markers (listed below the close-up photo), I die-cut each, along with the stars using the corresponding Set of Elves dies.

What’s Brewin’? (paper smooches)

Hi everyone! Today I have a card to share using a small group of Paper Smooches stamps and dies.

Whats-Brewin-500

I first created a watercolor background then adhered the die-cut monster and spider. I used an eye from Queen & Company‘s new Monster Mash kit and replaced one of the monster’s teeth with a black “hole.”

Whats-Brewin-CU

I adhered a die-cut mug on a clear foam square then added a bit of confetti from Big Balloons dies and stars from Space dies. I also adhered a few tiny sequins. Using Kirarina Wink glitter pens, I added a bit of detail to the mug.

The sentiment, from Halloween Sampler, was stamped in white ink then white embossed and adhered to the watercolor panel using a mini stapler.

Paper Smooches has some great deals happening this month. You check out this week’s special HERE.

Queen & Company’s new MONSTER MASH kit!

Hello everyone!  Have you seen Queen & Company’s new Monster Mash kit? Oh my gosh…SO cute! The kit includes pompoms in various colors and sizes, monster and critter part dies, eyeballs of different sizes, a super cute sentiment stamp set and an assortment of Gloobers which make adhering the pompoms *super* easy.

First, I created two friendly and very silly spiders.

Queen & Company - Monster Mash kit

After die-cutting the spider bodies, I adhered medium Gloobers then attached the pompoms.  While the eyes are adhesive, I used a dot of Sheer Glue on the back of each for extra staying power. The zig zag mouths were also adhered with Sheer Glue.

Queen & Company - Monster Mash kit (close-up)

I adhered the body portion of each spider to a panel of yellow patterned paper from the Fright Fest paper pad, leaving some of the legs to bend forward just a bit. I cut two thin strips of striped paper and adhered each as a spider web/string before adhering the purple die-cut frame. The sentiment was stamped in white then white embossed, cut apart and adhered below the spiders. I popped up every other word on foam tape. Lastly, I added a sprinkling of Epoxy Dots.

Supplies:  Monster Mash kit, Fright Fest paper pad, Gloobers, Epoxy Dots, Sheer Glue

Queen & Company - Monster Mash kit

Next, I created a large pumpkin, adhering Gloobers to the purple chevron paper then attaching the orange pompoms in the pumpkin shape. I glued on the eyes then the die-cut stem.

Queen & Company - Monster Mash kit (close-up)

I wanted my pumpkin to scream, as mentioned in the sentiment, so I used the inside of a larger zero die to create the oval. I cut a very thin strip of white card stock then trimmed tiny teeth of various lengths and adhered to the top and bottom edges. The sentiment was stamped in white then white embossed.

Supplies:  Monster Mash kit, Fright Fest paper pad, Gloobers, Sheer Glue

I had so much fun creating my spiders and screaming pumpkin! Can’t wait to make more!
