Happy Friday everyone! Today I’m sharing a sample using Stamping Bella‘s April Stamp of the Month as well as another go at no-line coloring. 🙂
Through April 30, Balloonabella is available for 25% off. The sentiment is included with the image, and the coordinating die is 25% off as well.
She was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers (listed above).
Tip regarding the sketch marker list on the Dick Blick website: Markers are listed alphabetically by name. I know NONE of the names and dreaded looking through that list to find the specific numbers I wanted to purchase. BUT…lo and behold, if you click on the heading for the number column, POOF! All of the markers are listed numerically. Maybe I’m the last to know, but I think I heard angels singing when I discovered I could do that. Haha.
I layered Balloonabella atop Queen & Company‘s pretty Happy Hearts patterned paper.
Also this week, I posted the above card on Instagram using Tiny Townie Garden Girl Lily of the Valley. I want to improve my no-line coloring so I’m forcing myself to give it a whirl more often.
I stamped the image using a very light gray ink then colored with markers. The sentiment is from Garden Girl Flower Sentiments. To coordinate with the colors in the image, I added strips of Queen & Company‘s Simple Stripes patterned paper.
NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE
Use a vintage Stamping Bella image, meaning one NOT from the current/most recent release. (If the image is not listed in the “what’s new” category, then it’s considered “vintage.”) If you’d like, email your card to [email protected] by next Thursday to be featured on the SB blog. By doing so, you’ll also be entered to win some Bella Bucks! All challenge details can be found HERE.
