Ribbiting News (paper smooches)

Hi everyone! I’m popping in today with a card I created using Paper SmoochesBear Frog Card dies.

Shaped Card dies are perfect for creating super fun and super FAST cards. I just love the frog.  :)

I used eyelashes from Cat Dog Card die set as well as a sentiment from Critter Card Puns. Along the top and bottom edges of the sentiment strip, I die-cut lines of dots using a Dots & Dashes die.

Life is a Circus (paper smooches)

Hi everyone. Thanks for stopping by! My card today uses Enjoy the Show stamp set from Paper Smooches. (My life has indeed been a circus the last couple months. I can relate to that clown.  Hopefully soon everything will return to a more normal pace. )

Paper Smooches Enjoy the Show

I first planned out my “scene” by arranging the stamps, overlapping where necessary. I determined the clown would be in the foreground so I stamped him first, then while the stamp was still inky, I stamped again onto a Post It note. I cut that out and used it as a mask over the stamped image before stamping the elephant, his box and sentiment.

For balls, I used an assortment of Doodlebug’s Matte Sprinkles to match the dots on Doodlebug’s Puppy Love patterned paper.

I’ll be back soon.  :)

Chillin’ (with Paper Smooches)

Hi everyone!  Today I have a few cards to share using Paper Smooches stamps and dies.  :)

Paper Smooches Cool Treats

First I used Cool Treats dies with a sentiment from Chilly Chums.

To create the popsicles, I first watercolored onto watercolor cardstock. Once dried, I die-cut, adhered over the die-cut popsicle sticks using foam tape, and added cute little enamel heart shapes.

Paper Smooches Courteous Cuties

Next I used a heart die as a guide for placement of tiny stamped hearts from Courteous Cuties.

Copic markers – BG10, BG11, Y06, Y08, YR23

The tiny bee was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic markers and die-cut using it’s coordinating Courteous Cuties Icons die.

Paper Smooches Southwest Charm

Lastly, I used the kokopelli stamp from Southwest Charm to create a southwest greeting.

I used my MISTI to help align the kokopelli.

Yo ho, Yo ho (paper smooches)

Hi everyone. I’m still trying to get back into the swing of things here. It’s been crazy.

Today I’ve used Ahoy Me Hearty from Paper Smooches:)

Paper Smooches Ahoy Me Hearty

Once colored with Copic markers, my parrot was die-cut using its coordinating Ahoy Icons Die then perched atop a Seasonal Tree (minus one branch).

Thanks for Your Service (paper smooches)

Hi everyone! I’m just now back from a whirlwind of graduation celebrations, company and vacation. It has been a C-R-A-Z-Y month. I think things will slow down a bit now but I feel behind. I need a vacation after the last three weeks…and yes, a vacation from my vacation. It was not all good. But everyone is ok (now). Thankfully.

Today I have a fun card to share using Circle of Honor from Paper Smooches.

I stamped the fireworks in red and light blue inks then added the perfect embellishments, new Starbursts, from Queen & Company.

Copic markers – B28, E18, E33, W00, W1, W2, W3, Y17, Y21, YR23

I applied red, silver and blue Pin Stripe Glitter Tape (currently on sale), then adhered my Copic colored eagle. Quick and easy.  :)

thanks so much (paper smooches)

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping in! My card today uses one of my favorite word dies and pretty Best Buds flowers by Paper Smooches.

Paper Smooches Best Buds

My color choices were based on those thin slivers of patterned paper you see peeking out from the left and right sides. I truly love Echo Park’s Have Faith patterned paper. The thin strips were scraps I just couldn’t throw away.

Copic markers – BG10, E33, E35, G94, G99, R39, R83, R85, RV11, RV32, YG63

I colored with markers, die-cut the image with it’s coordinating die then adhered over a sponged background. “Thanks” and the heart from Thanks so Much were die-cut from dark gray card stock, adhered and traced over with Glossy Accents. “So much” was stamped from All Year Cheer.

I’ll be back soon!  Have a great day!

You’re Fintastic (paper smooches)

Hi everyone. Today I’m off to the ocean!  Not really. That would be nice though. Haha.  On my card today I’ve used Briny Blue along with Ocean Scene dies by Paper Smooches.

Paper Smooches Briny Blue

After stamping the images, I colored with markers and added a sprinkling of Kirarina Wink White dots. There is a Briny Blue coordinating four-die set but I don’t happen to have that one so I fussy-cut each image.

Copic markers – BG11, BG13, R83, R85, RV11, RV32, V15, Y21, YG03, YG06, YR23, Kirarina Wink White Pearl

Before creating/adhering my scene, I sponged a wavy background using Taylored Expressions’ Go with the Flow stencil. In addition to the fish, I added a few Ocean Scene plants, coloring each with markers then a clear Wink of Stella glitter brush. (“You’re” was stamped from Surf & Turf set.)

Love You Moo & Moo (paper smooches)

Hi everyone! I have a little bit of farm love/humor today.  :)  I’ve used Paper Smooches‘ cute Green Acres stamp set with coordinating dies.

Paper Smooches Green Acres

The images were stamped then colored with Copic markers. I stamped the wheat, colored and cut out with scissors (as there is no die for that).  The hills (or Snow Drifts) were die-cut from Doodlebug Design’s Down of the Farm, *really* cute patterned paper, and the sentiment was white embossed.

Copic markers – B23, B93, B95, BG11, E01, E11, E18, E35, R01, R02, R29, R89, Y21, YR23, 110

Once the scene was assembled, I die-cut a few Tiny Hearts and adhered as musical notes coming from the little bird.  :)

As a reminder, you can get any Paper Smooches stamp set valued at $14.99 or less for FREE with any $60 retail order. Simply list your chosen set in the comments section at check out.

Reel Great Dad and an Open Door (paper smooches)

Hi everyone!  I’m popping in today to share two cards I created using stamps from Paper Smooches:)

Paper Smooches My Guy

First I created a quick and easy card for dad using My Guy stamp set. I simply stamped the reel then stamped the fish onto another scrap piece of white card stock. After coloring with markers, I cut him out and adhered to the end of the reel, using liquid glue under his mouth and a clear foam square beneath his tail for a bit of added dimension.

Copic markers – BG13, YG03, YG06, YR12

I added a scrap piece of Picture Perfect striped paper from Queen & Company, a few enamel shapes, then rounded the corners and adhered to a patterned block.

Paper Smooches Bitty Bungalows

My next card features Bitty Bungalows.  The bitty bungalow sits atop a Stitched hill with Flowers 2 sprinkled around.

Copic markers – B0000, BG11, X2, C3, E31, E33, R000, R21, R22, R81, Y21, YG03; Kirarina Wink White Pearl pen

I colored with Copic markers then used a Kirarina Wink White Pearl pen to add the centers of the flowers. Once the stamped panel was assembled, I adhered it over more Picture Perfect paper using foam tape.

just saying hello (paper smooches)

hello  :)

Today I created a quick and easy card using Paper SmoochesHello Sampler.  (Super duper quick and easy.)

I added the second speech bubble as an afterthought, but I actually like how that allowed the one edge to fall across the striped paper (from Queen & Company). Enamel shapes are from Taylored Expressions.

Thanks so much for visiting today.  :)
