A Few Bucks for You (paper smooches)

As I mentioned a few days ago, I’m trying to work on a stash of Christmas cards. I don’t send handmade cards to everyone on my list, but I like to have enough for those whom I know appreciate the effort.  🙂

Paper Smooches Santa Paws and Icons dies

Today I’ve used Santa Paws with Santa Paws Icons dies by Paper Smooches. (Santa Paws Icons dies are currently 50% off!)

Copic markers – E31, E33, E35, E40, E42, E43, E47, E59, R29, R89; Glossy Accents

Each “buck” was colored with Copic markers (listed above) with the noses then covered with Glossy Accents.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Thanksgiving Blessings (paper smooches)

Hi everyone! I hope you had a nice weekend. We’ve had more rain. Seriously…enough is enough. Everything is so soggy.

Paper Smooches Thanksgiving dies

Today my card features Thanksgiving dies with a sentiment from Fall Sampler by Paper Smooches. Super quick and easy.  🙂

Paper Smooches Thanksgiving dies (close-up)

Copic markers – E07, E08, E31, E33, E35, E40, E42, Y21, YG63, YG67, YR04, YR18, YR23

After die-cutting the images from dark brown card stock, I removed all the inside pieces then die-cut again from X-Press It Blending Card. I colored the inside areas with Copic markers then inserted the pieces into the dark brown image frames.

Tip: It’s easiest to color the pieces without removing them from the image frame. If the pieces fall out, simply put them back in to color.

A sentiment from Fall Sampler finished the card. (I carefully snipped apart the Thanksgiving blessings stamp so it was easier to arrange the sentiment. I think I’ll get a lot of use out of the simple word “blessings” by itself…and I really like the font.)

Thanks for visiting today!

Welcome Autumn (paper smooches)

Hello everyone! Finally, we have fall weather in this part of the country and I am really enjoying it. (It took so very long to arrive!)

Paper Smooches Autumn Groves and Fall Tree dies

Today I’ve used Autumn Groves stamp set with Fall Tree die by Paper Smooches.

I first taped off a section at the bottom to sponge in a grass area then shifted the tape down over the green to spone in a sky. After adding the leaves (which were colored with Copic markers, listed above), I adhered a few brown sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope your weather is as nice as mine (today, anyway).  🙂

Floral Sympathy (paper smooches)

Hi everyone. I never seem to have a sympathy card on hand when needed so I decided to begin periodically creating in that theme, here and there. Today I’ve used Botanicals 2 by Paper Smooches.

Paper Smooches Botanicals 2, Sympathy Sampler and Prayers die

After stamping the flowers, I added a few dots using a Violet Kirarina Wink glitter pen.

A partial Sympathy Sampler sentiment was stamped in white then white embossed with a Prayers die-cut placed beneath.

i dig you (paper smooches)

Hi everyone. I thought I’d pop in to share a few cards I created recently using Paper Smooches stamps and dies. 🙂

Paper Smooches Woofers & Tweeters

Copic markers – C1, C2, R81, R83, R85

First, I’ve used cute Woofers and Tweeters.  I colored the dog with Copic markers then cut out and adhered over a strip of Queen & Company‘s Simple Stripes patterned paper. Over the stripes, I added a die-cut heart.

Paper Smooches Falling For You

Copic markers – E50, E55, E57, E89, R29, R39, W00, W1, W2, W3, YG06, YG09, YG17

Next, I’ve used Falling for You. After stamping the heart seeds, I added some Glossy Accents to create a bit of dimension. Again, I used Queen & Company‘s Simple Stripes patterned paper.

Paper Smooches Let's Celebrate

Lastly, I created a quick and easy birthday card using Let’s Celebrate and Let’s Celebrate Icons dies. I tied a bit of string around the balloons and then to the openings in the celebrate die-cut.

Thanks for visiting! I’ll be back soon.  🙂

Ribbiting News (paper smooches)

Hi everyone! I’m popping in today with a card I created using Paper SmoochesBear Frog Card dies.

Shaped Card dies are perfect for creating super fun and super FAST cards. I just love the frog.  🙂

I used eyelashes from Cat Dog Card die set as well as a sentiment from Critter Card Puns. Along the top and bottom edges of the sentiment strip, I die-cut lines of dots using a Dots & Dashes die.

Life is a Circus (paper smooches)

Hi everyone. Thanks for stopping by! My card today uses Enjoy the Show stamp set from Paper Smooches. (My life has indeed been a circus the last couple months. I can relate to that clown.  Hopefully soon everything will return to a more normal pace. )

Paper Smooches Enjoy the Show

I first planned out my “scene” by arranging the stamps, overlapping where necessary. I determined the clown would be in the foreground so I stamped him first, then while the stamp was still inky, I stamped again onto a Post It note. I cut that out and used it as a mask over the stamped image before stamping the elephant, his box and sentiment.

For balls, I used an assortment of Doodlebug’s Matte Sprinkles to match the dots on Doodlebug’s Puppy Love patterned paper.

I’ll be back soon.  🙂

Chillin’ (with Paper Smooches)

Hi everyone!  Today I have a few cards to share using Paper Smooches stamps and dies.  🙂

Paper Smooches Cool Treats

First I used Cool Treats dies with a sentiment from Chilly Chums.

Paper Smooches Cool Treats (close-up)

To create the popsicles, I first watercolored onto watercolor cardstock. Once dried, I die-cut, adhered over the die-cut popsicle sticks using foam tape, and added cute little enamel heart shapes.

Paper Smooches Courteous Cuties

Next I used a heart die as a guide for placement of tiny stamped hearts from Courteous Cuties.

Copic markers – BG10, BG11, Y06, Y08, YR23

The tiny bee was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copic markers and die-cut using it’s coordinating Courteous Cuties Icons die.

Paper Smooches Southwest Charm

Lastly, I used the kokopelli stamp from Southwest Charm to create a southwest greeting.

I used my MISTI to help align the kokopelli.

Yo ho, Yo ho (paper smooches)

Hi everyone. I’m still trying to get back into the swing of things here. It’s been crazy.

Today I’ve used Ahoy Me Hearty from Paper Smooches.  🙂

Paper Smooches Ahoy Me Hearty

Once colored with Copic markers, my parrot was die-cut using its coordinating Ahoy Icons Die then perched atop a Seasonal Tree (minus one branch).

Paper Smooches Ahoy Me Hearty (close-up)

Copic markers – E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, G17, G28, R29, R89, Y17, YG06, YG09, YR16, YR23, YR27, 110; Brown Copic Multiliner

After stamping the gold coins, I “hung” each one from the branch using a brown Copic Multiliner.

Thanks so much for visiting today. I’ll be back soon.  🙂
