Snow Balls/Jingle Balls

I’ve been playing a bit with some new winter images I recently received.  I liked the sentiment so much on this one, I decided to stamp it twice.  Come on, sing it with me!  (Hee, hee, hee.)

Jingle Balls

     WSDJB

These little guys are Jingle Balls from Whipper Snapper Designs.  They have tiny brads for buttons and glassy jingle bells.

My friend, Joanne, made me buy that border punch so you’ll be seeing a lot of it.  And I used her little buttony bow too.

One final note, all Martha Stewart and Inkadinkado products at Jacksonbelle Embellishments are on sale for 40% off.  Once they’re gone, they’re gone.  Also, with every order placed through November 30th (no matter the size), you will be entered into a drawing for a nice give-away valued at over $100.   (HERE’s the loot.)

I’ll be back tomorrow (with a Kraftin’ Kimmie card :) ).  Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Bippity Bopitty Boo to You

Hi everyone!  I have a couple of quick Whipper Snapper Halloween samples I thought I better share before the month gets away from me.  (I can’t believe it’s the end of the month already! Gads!)

Here I’ve used Chicken Witch.  Anna’s images crack me up.  Really, who else would think to give a chicken a witch hat and a broom? :)  The sentiment is from Anna’s Spooky Expressions cling mount set.  The paper is new-ish Pink Paislee from Jacksonbelle Embellishments.

Happy Halloween

This little guy is Moon Balloon Ghost with sentiment from Anna’s Hocus Pocus cling mount set.  The fun Halloween paper is from Basic Grey’s Eerie paper pad.

I’m gearing up for a very busy next couple of weeks with lots of fun new releases from Kraftin’ Kimmie and My Favorite Things!  I’m really excited about both!   …Beginning Thursday!  :)   :)   :)

Pink Elephant

Hi everyone!

My post today might be the shortest ever.  I’m feeling better, but have to get the kids ready for picture day.  (I anticipate lots of arguments with one of them…I may have to pay her to wear what I want her to wear.)

Let’s Celebrate

    WSDLCPE

This is Huckabee, one of Whipper Snapper’s newer images.  She was fun (and quick) to color.  I added some simple layers, a bit of stitching and a button.  Done.  :)  (I like when things come together quickly. That doesn’t happen often for me.)

Ok…off to primp and hopefully not battle.  Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Stamps:  Whipper Snapper Designs “Huckabee” and “Happy Birthday” cling set (Anna Wight)  Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamagic Pixie Dust   Cardstock:  Papertrey Ink Stampers Select (white)   Patterned Paper:  Basic Grey Lemonade 6×6 paper pad   Accessories:  Copic markers (R59, R81, R83, R85, YG03), Basic Grey button, white string, sewing machine, sponge.  Finished size 5 ½” x 4 ¼”.

Hocus Pocus

Hi everyone!  It’s almost the weekend!  :)

Hocus Pocus

     WSDHP

This is Whipper Snapper’s Halloween Grocery List.  **giggle**  That’s such a cute name, isn’t it?  I especially like the little spider.  Don’t get me wrong.  I hate spiders.  They can do their thing outside, but I do not want to share my living environment with one (of any size).  Ick.  But this one is cute.  And it’s not real.

WSDHPCU

After coloring the image, I colored over the crossbones and skull using a clear 3-d glaze pen (and you can see the cute little spider a little better.  :) )

The paper is new Pink Paislee from Jacksonbelle Embellishments.  This was the first time I’ve used it and I already know I’ll need more.  It’s gorgeous!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

With Sympathy

Hi everyone!  Last week seemed to be the week of sympathy cards around here.  I made three, and my husband came home from work yesterday asking me to make another.   This is my favorite so far.

With Sympathy

          WSDWS

It’s been ages since I watercolored on watercolor paper (or at all).  I had forgotten that patience is required.  Stamp the image.  Wait.  Lay down the first color. Wait.  Add more color…  I prefer the instant gratification of using Copics, but I like the result here.  I really should try it more often.

I used Anna’s Blossoms and Butterflies and Blooming Expressions by Whipper Snapper.  Such pretty flowers in this set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!  :)

Stamps:  Whipper Snapper Designs “Blossoms & Butterflies” and “Blooming Expressions” (Anna Wight)   Ink: Stazon Black; Memento Tuxedo Black; Stampin’ Up Barely Banana, Elegant Eggplant, Bordering Blue   Cardstock:  Stampin’ Up Elegant Eggplant; watercolor paper; Prism Natural Smooth   Patterned Paper:  Basic Grey Wisteria 6×6 paper pad   Accessories:  Spellbinders Nestabilities, water brush, American Crafts brads.  Finished size 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.

Wish You Were Here

Hi everyone!  TGIF!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted some Whipper Snapper, so I have a cute little critter to share today.

Wish You Were Here

    WSDWYWH2

This is Swiss Miss.  (I think I colored her more like “Mr. Swiss” but I suppose it could go either way.)  She’s one of the many images from Whipper’s last Fall/Winter release.

I’ll be posting more cards using Whipper Snapper very soon.   I promise.  :)

And speaking of “Wish You Were Here,” here’s a little something about me that you probably don’t know.  My absolute favorite song …Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.  I could listen to this all day long.  :)

Ahhhh……..love it!  :)  Unfortunately, this recording is not of the song in its entirety (and yes, it is a very long song but sooo great).   I wish I were THERE.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!  And let’s take a moment to remember…

Birthday Rats

Yes, rats.  Eek!

This is an “older” Whipper Snapper image, but I still love it.  Look at the expressions on their faces.  Hee, hee, hee.  :)

Have a Great Day

      WSDBR2

I needed a birthday card for my nephew, Rane.  He turned 13 last week.  I can hardly believe it.   It doesn’t seem all that long ago that he was toddlin’ around with a pacifer in his mouth.

My supply of stamps (which is quite extensive) is sorely lacking in the ”teen boy” department.  I hope rats were ok for this year.  (He liked it.)

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Stamps: Whipper Snapper Designs “Birthday Rats” and “Have a Great Day”   Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black   Cardstock:  Prism Suede Brown Dark, Super Smooth White   Patterned Paper:  3 Bugs in a Rug “Snips & Snails” Collection   Accessories:  Copic markers (E71, E77, R20, YR23, Y21, YG63, B95, G0000), clear Sakura 3-d gel pen, ribbon, slot punch.  Finished size 5 ½” x 5 ½”.

Count your Blessings

Hi everyone!

I have another new Whipper Snapper sample to share today.

Count Your Blessings

       WSCYB3

This is Bebee.  Isn’t she cute?  I stamped her onto one of the solid “patterned” papers from Basic Grey’s Lemonade paper pad, added some WSDBBCUtiny rhinestones to the flower centers and Star Dust Stickles to her wings.

The sentiment is from Anna’s Blooming Expressions.  (That set was a “must have” for me.)

That’s it.  Another short one.  :)   Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Boo!

Hi everyone!  Just a quick post today.  I wanted to share another of Whipper Snapper’s newest releases.  Meet Scardy Cat.

Boo

           WSBC

Not so scary really.

I often like to use non-traditional papers for holidays.  These papers were not designed to be used specifically for Halloween but I think they work.  :)

That’s it for today.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Stamps:  Whipper Snapper Designs “Scardy Cat” and “Hocus Pocus”   Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black   Cardstock:  Prism Suede Brown Dark, Intense Kiwi, Super Smooth White   Patterned Paper:  Bo Bunny Mango Luau Dot & Mango Luau Dude   Accessories:  Copic markers (YR61, YR68, YG03, G14, E57, E31, W1), Basic Grey brads, pop dots..  Finished size 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.

A bit more Christmas in July

Published by Michele Boyer under Whipper Snapper

Hi everyone.  In between my multiple internet/email issues (grrr…), I thought I’d share one more Christmas design from Whipper Snapper’s Fall/Winter release.  (See all here.)

       WSDB

Here I’ve used The Magic of Snow.  I have the snowman reaching for a star, but I think he’d be cute with a bird in his hand…reaching for a snowflake…or maybe a big ol’ mug of spiced cider.  **snicker**  (Ok…maybe my very challenging week is showing a little.  I’ve had sporadic computer services, a dead battery that left us walking, birthdays, swim team thank you’s galore and more.  Plus my mojo is on the go-go.  Hopefully THAT won’t last long.)  Anyway…

I added some glittery Stickles to the image and stars.  You might be able to see a bit of it in the photo.

Thank so much for stopping by!  Hopefully I’ll be back with more soon! :)

Stamps:  Whipper Snapper Designs “The Magic of Snow” and “Believe”   Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black   Cardstock:  Stampin’ Up Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie; Prism Super Smooth White   Patterned Paper:  Imaginisce Twitterpated   Accessories:  Copic markers (E50, B00, B000, BG15, YR04, YR07, R46, YG67, C1), small star punch, Star Dust Stickles.  Finished size 5” x 5”.
