Purple Onion Designs Holiday Sale

Hello stamping friends! Today I’m sharing a few cards I created using Purple Onion Designs images. There’s a wonderful holiday sale taking place now through December 5, 25% off rubber stamps. I hope you’ll take a peek. Lots of cuteness. 🙂

All images were stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

Purple Onion Designs Warmhearted Snowman — Copic markers – BG70, E30, E31, E33, E35, E40, E41, E42, E43, R000, R01, R02, R24, R29, R39, W00, W1, W2, W3, W4, W5, YR12, YR14, YR18

Here I used Warmhearted Snowman by Stacey Yacula with a sentiment from Sweetest Season. I tried my best using the “no line” coloring technique…although I’m not sure how to carry out a “no line” look with a white image. I think I need disappearing ink. Nonetheless, I think he turned out ok. White dots were added using an extra fine point white Sharpie.

Purple Onion Designs Louis and Lighted Trees — Copic markers – BG10, BG11, BG13, BG70, E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, G21, G24, G39, W1, W2, W3, 100, YR68

Next I used adorable Louis with Lighted Trees and a Sweetest Season sentiment. Once colored, I added Glossy Accents over the tree decorations so they are shiny and add a bit of dimension. Flurries created with the same white Sharpie.

Purple Onion Designs Kaily & Nohl, Dusting of Snow, Home for the Holidays Sentiment — Copic markers – BG10, C4, C5, C6, C7, R21, Y21, YR23

Lastly, I’ve used Kaily & Nohl, ringing in the new year with a Home for the Holidays sentiment. I also used Dusting of Snow in the background with Diamond Stickles added to the center of each flake and throughout the ground.

Hello everyone. I hope my US friends had a nice Thanksgiving. My house was full of family for the first time in oh so long. It was very nice to see everyone. 🙂

Stamping Bella MINI Oddball Christmas Pudding

This week the Stamping Bella team is creating with images from the latest release. I chose sweet MINI Oddball Christmas Pudding. I love her expression. (It’s how I felt at the end of last night’s visit. Haha.)

After stamping onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloring with Copic markers, I cut around the tip of the one leaf then die-cut the rectangle, with the tip on the top edge of the die so it would not cut. Partial sentiment is from Festive Oddball Sentiment Set.

Get Your Fat Pants Ready!

Hello everyone. A couple weeks ago the Stamping Bella team featured creations using the November Stamp of the Month, Christmas Tree Oddball, which is available through 11/30 at 50% off. Today the team is sharing designs using other images from the Oddball category.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner here in the US, I chose Thanksgiving Oddball. I adore this sentiment. (And you can believe I will be wearing my fat pants next Thursday! Haha.) The image comes with a second sentiment as well that reads “Let our lives be filled with both thanks and giving.”

Stamping Bella Previews-Last Day

Hello, hello! Today is the last day to share with you Stamping Bella‘s new release previews. All images will be available for purchase tomorrow, November 18!

All of my stamping was done on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

Teeny Tiny Townie with a Gift

I adore Teeny Tiny Townie with a Gift. I love that she’s standing on her tippy toes. And she’s just so very tiny. 🙂 Note that on the actual stamp, the tag is left blank. I stamped “for you” using part of the sentiment from Tiny Townie Ellie the Elf stamp set.

The Gnome and the Flamingo

How cute is Gnome and the Flamingo?! It cracks me up. I lightly blended a swirl (wave) background then added some tiny die-cut snowflakes.

MINI Oddball on a Stack of Gifts

I think MINI Oddball on a Stack of Gifts is over the holiday season. Her expression… haha. I added a tag with an Oddball Festive sentiment. The set has the perfect mix of snarky sayings to go along with the Oddballs (or anywhere you might want a bit of sarcasm).

MINI Oddball with One Scoop

Lastly, I have MINI Oddball with One Scoop who is not having a good day. After coloring, I paired her with Queen & Company‘s Sweet Shop patterned and solid papers and adhered a few little “candy toppings” on the ground.

Stamping Bella Release Previews, Day 2

Hi everyone! I’m back today to share a few more samples from Stamping Bella‘s upcoming release. New images will be available for purchase on Thursday, November 18. Be sure to check out the Stamping Bella blog for more!

Oddball Three Elves and a Tree

First up is Oddball Three Elves and a Tree. I think they’re adorable with their slight grumpiness. Haha. Flurries were added using my white Sharpie. Once colored, I added tiny red rhinestones as ornaments. Sentiment is from Oddball Festive Sentiment Set.

MINI Oddball Christmas Pudding

I adore the new MINI Oddballs, and MINI Christmas Pudding is sweet as can be. She comes along with the sentiment I used here.

MINI Oddball and His Frogs

MINI Oddball and His Frogs might be my favorite so far. I paired him with a Happy Birthday to You sentiment.

The Gnome and the Christmas Tree

Lastly for today is The Gnome and the Christmas Tree. Isn’t he cute with his little pup? The sentiment is included with the image.

Stamping Bella Release Previews

Hello everyone! I’ll be popping in today, tomorrow and Wednesday to share samples of Stamping Bella‘s upcoming release! We have new Oddballs, MINI Oddballs, Teeny Tiny Townies, Gnomes…so much cuteness! All images will be available for purchase on Thursday, November 18. 🙂

All samples were stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers.

Oddball Christmas Parents and Christmas Kids

Stamping Bella Oddball Christmas Parents and Kids — Copic markers – BG11, E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, E25, E27, E29, E33, E35, E37,E79, G17, G19, G28, R29, R59, R89, W00, W1, W2, W3, W4, W5, W7, W9, Y21

First I combined new Oddball Christmas Parents with Oddball Christmas Kids. (There’s also an Oddball Christmas Pets set.) After coloring, I added some faux sparkle to Mom’s dress using a white Sharpie. At the bottom I stamped an Oddball Festive Sentiment.

Mini Snowflake Oddball

There are new MINI Oddballs in this release! So cute. 🙂 Here I colored Mini Snowflake Oddball then added a snowflake border with some pink Petite Posies from Queen & Company. Pretty paper is Flirty Florals, also from Q&C.

The Gnome and the Mistletoe

Last I colored and cut out The Gnome and the Mistletoe. I used my white Sharpie to add tiny dots to his hat. The sentiment is included with the image.

I used Uptown Girl Wren and her Wreath. Her dress and wreath bow were paper-pieced with shading added using gray markers.

Hello everyone! I’m popping in tonight to share a card using another of Purple Onion Designs‘ latest images from the new Winter/Holiday release. 🙂

Purple Onion Designs Three Dog Holiday/Furry Friends Sentiment

Three Dog Holiday is one of the super-cute images from Shari Bresicani‘s “It’s Snowing Cats and Dogs.” Isn’t it super cute? I love it.

Copic markers – BG13, E31, E33, E35, E37, E40, E41, E42, E43, E71, E74, E77, E79, G21, G94, G99, R29, R59, W00, W1, W2, YG03

After stamping the image onto X-Press It Blending Card, I colored with Copic markers then cut it out to adhere over a blended sky background. I added tiny rhinestones to the tree and then flurries using a white Sharpie. The sentiment is from new Furry Friends sentiment set.

Purple Onion Designs Winter/Holiday Release

Hello again! I’m excited to share a few samples over the next couple weeks using Purple Onion Designs‘ Winter/Holiday release, now available for purchase! The release includes Stacey Yacula‘s “I’ll be Home for the Holidays” as well as “It’s Snowing Cats and Dogs” and “Snow Much Fun” by artist Shari Bresicani. My card today uses images from “I’ll Be Home for the Holidays.”

Purple Onion Designs Eddie & Ethel, Holiday House

I’ve paired sweet bunny grandparents, Eddie & Ethel, with Holiday House Background and a Home for the Holidays sentiment.

The images were stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copic markers. I used a red Kirarina 2Win oil-based marker to add berries to the little wreaths. To add a bit of dimension, I adhered the bottom edge of the bunnies directly to the paper and placed foam tape beneath their heads.

The Happiest Holidays (with Gnomedeer)

Hello everyone! Happy Friday to you! It’s a *very* wet one here. Lots of rain…gloomy…very yucky.

This week the Stamping Bella team is sharing creations using images from the latest release. I decided on Gnomedeer. I love them.

As you can see, my current phase of paper-piecing continues. I couldn’t resist giving each one his own holiday pattern hat. 🙂

After stamping onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloring with Copic markers, I stamped the hats onto several patterns, cut out and added shading with gray markers. (Paper is from a very old Doodlebug Design paper pad. I really should shop for some current paper pads…even though I have an overabundance of old.)
