Let the Birthday Bash Begin!
Hi everyone! Not only are we celebrating the birth of our nation today, but this weekend My Favorite Things turns THREE! (We’ll be celebrating that all month long.) AND tomorrow is Kim’s birthday (Miss MFT herself)!

I’m a little late with getting my card in the mail, but this is for Kim…and MFT. (See, three candles.) I used one of my first MFT sets, You Take the Cake. I paper-pieced the girl…because that’s what I like to do 
, the cake was colored and popped up, and I used clear 
crystals in the centers of some of the flowers. Beneath the card is a matching envelope I made from two pieces of cardstock and scraps of the patterned paper. The inside of the card is finished as well and reads “You take the cake.”

What a great card! I laughed when you said….. “when I paper-pieced the girl…because that’s what I like to do”… it’s almost as if I can hear you talking. All kidding aside - this is a great card!!! Love how you added the brads in 3’s like that. Super layout and colours. Total eyecandy.
