With Sympathy
Hi everyone! Last week seemed to be the week of sympathy cards around here. I made three, and my husband came home from work yesterday asking me to make another. This is my favorite so far.
With Sympathy
It’s been ages since I watercolored on watercolor paper (or at all). I had forgotten that patience is required. Stamp the image. Wait. Lay down the first color. Wait. Add more color… I prefer the instant gratification of using Copics, but I like the result here. I really should try it more often.
I used Anna’s Blossoms and Butterflies and Blooming Expressions by Whipper Snapper. Such pretty flowers in this set.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Stamps: Whipper Snapper Designs “Blossoms & Butterflies” and “Blooming Expressions” (Anna Wight) Ink: Stazon Black; Memento Tuxedo Black; Stampin’ Up Barely Banana, Elegant Eggplant, Bordering Blue Cardstock: Stampin’ Up Elegant Eggplant; watercolor paper; Prism Natural Smooth Patterned Paper: Basic Grey Wisteria 6×6 paper pad Accessories: Spellbinders Nestabilities, water brush, American Crafts brads. I need to make a sympathy card, too, and since this one is so beautiful I may CASE it. Love your colors.
This is lovely, the watercoloring and the beautiful image combined with the gorgeous paper make this a wonderfully serene looking card.
Very nice!
This is gorgeous!! Love it!
Gorgeous colors and watercoloring!
I keep my heat gun handy when I watercolor, I am way to impatient to wait, lol! Love the watercoloring, Anna’s flowers are perfect for it.
This is gorgeous.
This is gorgeous, Michele! I’m not a purple person, but I love this!
I’m sorry you’ve had to make so many sympathy cards recently, Michele. This one is very beautiful, and I’m sure it will be much appreciated.
This is beautiful, Michele!
How pretty and so classy, Michele!
It surely is a beautiful card!
Beautiful!!
It’s gorgeous, Michele! Your watercoloring is as excellent as ever. Love the layout. One coloring medium takes me as long as the other, but I do like the way alcohol markers blend.
*gasp* Stunning!! Colors are gorgeous!
