MFT Greatest Hits

Hi everyone.  Today the My Favorite Things design team is showcasing the à la modes line.   For a list of direct links to participating designers, please check out Kim’s blog after 11 a.m. EST.

You know MFT loves to spoil their customers, right?  This week is no exception.  Christmas has come early for YOU.  From December 7 though December 9, our MFT Santa will be slipping a little something extra into your “stocking”.  With each order of $25 or more (not including tax or shipping) placed during the promotion period, you will receive a FREE surprise gift with your order.  There are tons of gifts under the tree, and one will be picked just for you!  It could be a stamp set, ribbon or other crafty product.  It’ll be a surprise, so please don’t send Santa a list.  *wink*

Go With the Flow

I chose to use Groovy Girl.  I paired her with one of October Afternoon’s latest releases, Modern Homemaker.  Even though I used Christmas-y colors, I hope it doesn’t LOOK Christmas-y.  (I don’t think it does, but then that’s just me.)

Along the side I used MFT’s  Flower Trio Die-namics cut from oh-so-soft red felt.

I’m not sure how, but I managed to cut out and paper-piece her tiny dress.  The peace sign and the rest of the image were all colored with markers.  (Grass/ground was added using pencils.)

The inside was finished simply using already cut strips of the patterned papers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!
