Happy Birthday and a Quick Gift

Hi everyone.  🙂  I’ve just returned from a super-fun trip to Chicago.  I attended a Copic class where I met my friend, Sue Berker for the first time.  What a treat (and wonderful surprise) that was!  She’s so very sweet.  And her husband is cute as can be.  (I *loved* seeing him spot a tray of cookies in the class.  Hee, hee.)  I met lots of my MFT buddies. Love them all!  I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much.  I saw some old friends and met new ones.  When I wasn’t in class or working CHA, I was with my family, visiting relatives and spending time downtown.  We endured a very hot (and sad) Cubs game and ate at some fantastic restaraunts. My favorites were Hot Doug’s (The Ben Gallagher was incredible, YUM!) and The Bongo Room (oh my).   We stayed at a couple of VERY nice hotels (gotta love Priceline!) and did a bit of site-seeing.  It was a great week!  🙂  But back to reality we go.

I have a little birthday card and extra little matching note pad I wanted to share (before I forget about them).

Happy Birthday

This set is so much prettier in real life.  I love how it turned out.

I used MFT’s More Essential Sentiments and Button Quartet Die-namics (currently out of stock).

On the inside I used a sentiment from You Take the Cake (an oldie but goodie).

This pic doesn’t do it justice.  I might not be able to give this away.

I’ll be back on Friday for Day 1 of My Favorite Things August previews!  (August already, gah!)

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!  🙂
