August MFTeasers, Day 5

Hi everyone!  It’s the very last day of August previews with My Favorite Things! Tonight’s release (and hop) will take place at 10 p.m. EST, preceded by the release party HERE from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. EST.  We hope you’ll join us for fun chatter, games, prizes and the announcement of our next guest designer!

Today’s previews include Sunflower WTG and All Smiles (Triple Scoop).

Wishing You Sunshine and Sunflowers

If you attended the latter part of CHA, you might have seen me coloring this image from Sunflower WTG.  I knew I was going to be pressed for time once I returned home so I tried to get a bit ahead on my work.

Unfortunately, I somehow smeared ink all over the image when I was putting the card together (ink from the sentiment, I assume) and so I had to start over.  But it was a quick and easy re-do.  Luckily the pieced dress came off the original image without too much of a struggle.  Whew…

To finish the inside, I used a partial sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about Birthdays.  You’ll see an even shorter part of this same sentiment on tonight’s card.  This is another set I just never put away.  I also added a flourish from Sweet & Sassy using New Sprout ink.

If you’d like to see all the teasers for today, please click on over to Kim’s blog now.  Be sure to leave comments as you go for a chance to win one of two $10 vouchers being given away daily, just for leaving a comment.  Winners will be announced during the pre-release party tonight (HERE).

I’ll be back tonight at 10 p.m. EST for our Release Hop & Shop.  Hope to see you then! :)
