Hi everyone! I’m super excited to be the Guest Designer this week on the Paper Sundaes blog! (Thank you SO much for having me!) 🙂
This week’s sponsor is My Favorite Things and they will be giving away a $25 gift voucher to one random (and lucky!) participant!
This week’s challenge, which runs until Saturday night, is to paper-piece. As most of you know, paper-piecing is one of my all-time favorite techniques so I was doubly excited to have been asked to guest. 🙂
For my card today, I used Ice Princess from My Favorite Things‘ Pure Innocence collection.
I pieced the dress then stamped the skirt portion a second time, cut it out and glued just the top edge, placing a couple of foam boosters beneath the bottom edge for a little 3-d lift. Her tights were pieced as well.
I die-cut a handful of Mini Rolled Roses and leaves from Flower & Leaf Trio Die-namics. I also tucked a strip of Small Scallop Border along each side of the center panel.
I finished the inside simply, using scraps of the patterned paper and two more Small Scallop Borders.
You can find all details for this week’s Paper Sundaes challenge HERE. I hope you’ll play along! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
