Sending Canine Kisses

Hi everyone.  I’m back today with a sketch sample for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club with My Favorite Things.

This week I’ve used Puppy Girl from the Pure Innocence line along with the larger of the Open Scallop Doily Duo, Pet Charms and Little Open Scallop Strip.

The brown paw charm is layered atop a charm die-cut from cardboard.  (I placed tape on the back to keep the paw pieces from falling through.)

I colored with Copics, using a 0.05 Copic Multiliner to draw the lines on the girl’s stockings.  And for the first time, I tried shadowing her face with a BV00.  I really like how it turned out and will definately try again.  🙂

On the inside I stamped a silhouette of the girl along with another sentiment from the set.

You can find direct links to DT samples HERE on the MFT blog.  The info is also posted in the MFT Forum in SCS.  (Look for the most recent WSC thread numbered 65.)   And remember, if you upload your card to the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch, you will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money!  One winner is chosen at random each week.

Thanks for visiting!  Have a great day!  🙂
