Thanks Bunches

Hi everyone!  It’s time to get sketchy once again with My Favorite Things.  Can you believe we’re up to Week 75?

For this week’s card I used our cute new Blessed Mouse from last night’s release, Circle STAX, Hearts a Plenty and File Tab Die-namics.

I stamped my image onto X-Press It Blending Card (my favorite paper for coloring with Copics), colored my image then die-cut the circle using Circle STAX. I then stamped the butterfly twice…once hanging off the edge of the paper and a second time for coloring the wings and adhering over the body, hanging off the edge of the circle.

I used a 0.3 Copic multiliner to doodle in the butterfly’s flight pattern.

The heart was die-cut from My Favorite Cork using Hearts a Plenty Die-namics.  Card base is MFT Red Hot cardstock.

On the inside, I used more Circle STAX, stamping the sentiment along the curve.  To do this, I placed my sentiment stamp onto the die, fitting the circle.  I then placed my acrylic block on top to pick up the stamp, double-checked the curve by placing the mounted stamp over the die again (or the die-cut circle), adjusted (if necessary) and then stamped.  (Clear as mud?)

<—Here’s the sketch if you’d like to play along. Remember, if you upload your card to the SCS gallery using the keyword MFTWSC75, you will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money!  One winner is chosen at random each week.  More info can be found in the MFT Forum in SCS.

Thanks for visiting!  Have a great day!  🙂
